Every 15 Minutes

Apr 12 2018

Every 15 Minutes is an anti-drunk driving program for high school students. The program consists of two days of activities including students being pulled from classes by a grim reaper every 15 minutes to symbolize the deaths that occur with that frequency from drunk driving, a realistic reenactment of an automobile accident involving injury and death caused by drunk driving, and a memorial service for the students killed in the accident.

Vallejo Rotary brought the program to Vallejo for the first time in 2016. Through cooperation between the Vallejo School District, Highway Patrol, Firefighters, Medic Ambulance, local hospitals and many individuals and local groups and businesses, this dramatic and poignant program shows the ugly truth behind a drunk driving accident. High School Seniors and Juniors participate in and attend the demonstrations and associated events. It is a moving experience for all involved.

We are proud to be a part of this program. Please join us and help out any way you can. We have too many needs to be listed here. If you have resources, talent, or time to give please contact Tony Shannon 707.747.4747.
