Human Trafficking is an important issue, particularly in the San Francisco Bay Area.

New Day For Children provides support for the victims of this disturbing crime.

On October 13th, New Day For Children will be hosting a fundraiser at the Chabot Science Center, 1000 Skyline Blvd. in Oakland. The event will feature a small silent auction, presentations from New Day For Children special guests, and a rare performance from VOENA.

We are still have room for a few more volunteers if you want to do some hands-on work to support this great cause. Vallejo Rotary will be represented at the check-in/check-out station for the silent auction. If you would like to get involved, please call Tony Shannon at 707.747.4747.

Volunteers would be needed from 4:30pm until 9:30pm on Saturday, October 13th at the Chabot Science Center.
