What makes Vallejo Rotary Different?

When people visit our club, they all say the same thing, "You guys really know how to have fun!"

Here's part of our club at our 2015 Golf Tournament. We use the money raised at our golf tournament to buy dictionaries for every third grader in Vallejo.

Dictionaries, how to use them, etc. are part of the elementary school curriculum in third grade, so it's a real benefit to the kids.

The kids love the dictionaries and for some kids, it is the only book they own.

It feels great to be apart of shaping young lives and contributing to learning!


Another fun event we do is Fishing in the City. They say, "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." We teach inner-city kids in Vallejo, California how to fish. We teach them everything from tying the knot for the hook on the fishing line, to casting, baiting, and how to keep our water ways clean so we will continue to have fish.
